Decal Instructions
Clean whichever surface you plan to adhere your decal to. Be sure that the surface is clean of dirt and dust. The surface must also be DRY. Do not try to apply to a wet surface or when it is raining, it will not stick properly.
Press firmly on the decal once received with your hand around the entire surface before peeling. Peel up the transfer tape (clear) slowly from one corner. Ensure that the decal is sticking to the transfer tape. Be sure to apply to your car or surface when temperatures are 75F degrees or below. If it is too hot, the transfer tape will not pick up the decal. If you run into this issue, just wait for the decal to cool down and try again.
Once you have the decal lifted onto the transfer tape, position it where you'd like it. Stick it on and press firmly to get out any bubbles. Once fully adhered, peel the transfer tape, starting at one corner slowly and at a sharp angle.
Decals can be removed with a razor-blade however they are single use. Once stuck, you cannot get it off in one piece to re position to another location.

06.03.2014 - The day I sold my first Hoot + Co product.
At 22, I started this company with ribbon bow ties and not knowing how to sew. In the beginninng, it was a way to get away from my hectic work hours and spend quality time with my sister in law and co conspirator, Lindsay. I think H&C became more than a dream when I realized it didn't feel like work anymore. I can love what I do for work while making memories and adventuring with my favorite people.
I LOVE coming up with new ideas. The butter to my bread is the creative side to production. The Summit Dual and the new Everest E- collar are why I wake up every morning ready to get to work. Some people need to separate work and life, but I thrive having both so close.
A little about me now. I have a wonderful husband who has supported me from the beginning. I am an introvert, but I am also the funniest one in the shop - some might say. I love being outdoors and love getting my dogs Jade and Dexter out as well. Everyday life is pretty busy with work, but I make it a priority to spend some true quality time with my family. We love camping, hiking, biking, and all things outdoors.
I have a lot of fun plans for the future and can't wait to get you all as excited as I am about it!..... It's been quite a journey, I'm glad you're here for it.

Lindsay Martens
Creative Director
Lindsay is the creative director, taking the lead on most things design around here. Decals, pet tags, apparel, our new Hoot + Co Kids line, it's all her! She's one of the most creative people I know and she doesn't take enough credit. She's always down to work late nights to get things done. She goes above and beyond to make our customers happy, taking on nearly any custom request we get. She has a heart of gold and she's one of my best friends.
She's a full time mom who recently moved to Colorado. Most of her free time is spent with her son and their pups Layla + Huckleberry! We can't wait to show her more of Colorado and to see where life takes us.
